Our team are highly experienced with dealing with various types of behaviours including aggression and will react responsibly to reduce or stop this behaviour from occurring.
During the initial meet and greet we’ll discuss any special requirements, such as use of muzzles. If your pet begins to show signs of aggression towards a member of the team, the public or towards other dogs, LIVforPETS reserves the right to stop the activity for the safety of humans and dogs alike.
Before any dog walking or pet sitting is booked, we provide a free ‘Meet and Greet’ session. This gives us the opportunity to meet you and your pet(s) and for them to meet us. During the meet and greet, we’ll discuss your requirements and your pet(s) daily routine. Following a routine your pet(s) are already familiar with, minimises stress and anxiety.
Yes, we are insured by ‘Pet Business Insurance’
All LIVforPETS carers are CRB/DBS checked, first aid qualified and trained in animal care & welfare.
If an emergency occurred or your pet suddenly fell ill, we would contact you or your emergency contact if you are unavailable. Where possible we will take your pet to their registered vet; However, if deemed necessary by our team we will take your pet to the closest veterinary practice.
The client is responsible for settling any fees incurred with the vet directly.
Yes, we are fully trained in administering tablets, applying any creams or eye ointments.
If you start running low on food or litter while you are away, we will contact you. If necessary LIVforPETS can purchase replenishment’s, which will be invoiced upon your return.
Yes. If you are away for an extended period, we can water plants, pick up any post, open/close curtains during our visit(s).
Your dog(s) will be walked off the lead, only with your permission. The customer fact finder document completed during the initial meet and greet will cover walking off lead and any specific requirements.
If you have a specific time requirement, please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate this.
Our group walk time slots are morning visits between 9AM and 11AM, lunchtime visits between 11AM and 1PM and afternoon visits between 1PM and 3PM. Small pet drop in feeds & checks are generally before 9AM and after 3PM.
For double visits we aim to leave sufficient time between the two sessions. Keeping the daily routine constant for your pet(s) while you are away.
